Wood and Taylor streets sidewalk closures June 18-21

Dear students, faculty and staff,

Taylor Street and Wood Street sidewalks adjacent to the University of Illinois Hospital Welcome Atrium will be closed to pedestrians from 6 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, to 3 p.m. Friday, June 21.

The closures are required for contractors to do exterior painting work on the mullions of the atrium.

Work will begin on Taylor Street and will be scheduled so only one sidewalk at a time is closed. A flagger will be on site to help direct pedestrian traffic.

Pedestrian access to the hospital’s main entrance will be maintained at all times.

Please use caution when traveling in this area. We appreciate your cooperation and apologize for any inconvenience caused by these sidewalk closures.
