Suspect charged in parking garage burglaries
UIC Police charged a man with three felony counts of burglary after a detailed investigation of at least 12 burglaries in the UIC parking garages at 915 S. Paulina and 100 S. Wood from mid-August through early September.
Investigator Stephanie Kriegermeier said the man stole car stereos, GPS devices and other valuables. The suspect was identified after a victim provided a serial number for her stolen property.
