Honors and awards for UIC faculty, staff, students

Mary Beth Watson-Manheim director of the MIS doctoral program in information and decision sciences, College of Business Administration, received the 2015 GITMA Organizational Leadership Award at the Global Information Technology Management Association conference in St. Louis, where she gave the keynote address.
Laurie Jo Reynolds, an artist in the Social Justice and Human Rights cluster in the School of Art and Art History, is among 10 Chicago artists selected from 450 applicants to be a finalist for the Chicago Artadia Awards, granted by the New York-based Artadia fund.
Ken Morgan, director of the Urban Health Program in the College of Applied Health Sciences, received the 2015 Directors Award (Central Region) from the National Association of Medical Minority Educators for his service as a regional director and committee participant.
He was recognized at the organization’s 2015 conference Sept. 16-20 in Louisville, Kentucky.
