Updating direct deposit
Employees now must make any changes to their direct deposit information from a computer on a campus network.
Changes will not be allowed from an outside network, including Virtual Private Network (VPN) connections.
The new policy was put in place because of an increased risk of phishing attacks on University of Illinois employees. The university is working toward a more convenient solution for updating direct deposit information in NESSIE, which is expected to be implemented this fall.
All changes should be made in NESSIE.
