Suspect sought in off-campus robbery

A UIC student was the victim of an off-campus robbery at 1 a.m. Dec. 11 at 800 S. Loomis St.

An offender approached the student, then struck him several times in the face. The student fell to the ground and the offender took the student’s book bag and fled on foot.

The student refused medical attention.
