Support Flames softball alumna at Bandits event

Former Flame Natalie Hernandez currently plays for the Chicago Bandits.

UIC Athletics will host a party deck at the Chicago Bandits game July 19 for Natalie Hernandez Night in support of the Flames softball alum and current Bandits infielder.

First pitch against the Dallas Charge is set for 7:05 p.m. at the Ballpark at Rosemont

Hernandez, a standout at UIC from 2011–14, returns for her third season with the Bandits after helping the team capture its third National Pro Fastpitch Championship in 2015. She has appeared in 47 games in two seasons and has 19 hits and 11 RBI.

Tickets for the event are $25 for adults and $10 for kids 10 and younger. The cost includes admission to the game, dinner and fountain drinks.
