The UIC Jazz Ensemble’s latest CD, “Walkin’ About,” is available for download online. The group’s second CD features a mix of classic works by Thad Jones and Oliver Nelson, in addition to selections from Kenny Wheeler’s “Sweet Time Suite” and an original composition by Jazz Ensemble conductor Andy Baker, director of jazz studies.

Head to the UIC Bookstore to update your wardrobe with T-shirts that feature the new campus logos and color palettes. The new identity system, created by UIC graphic design students, features two new designs: vertical text mirroring the Chicago skyline and a circular logo. From books to jam, the Jane Addams Hull-House Museum Gift Shop has a variety of holiday gifts on sale this month. All regular-priced books are 15 percent off and seasonal, locally made jam is 25 percent off.
