Suspect sought in off-campus robbery
A UIC student was the victim of an off-campus strong-arm robbery at 5:20 p.m. Feb. 12 in the 1200 block of West Flournoy Street.
The suspect grabbed the student’s phone and identification. A second offender approached from behind and knocked the student to the ground with a blow to the head.
The student refused medical attention.
The first offender is a black male, 17 to 18 years old, 6 feet 1 inch and medium build. He wore a dark blue cap, dark blue jacket and dark jeans with embroidery on the back.
The second offender is a black male, 17 to 18 years old and 5 feet 10 inches. He wore a red and white cap.

Feb. 13: A man was arrested for battery at 10:34 a.m. at the hospital.
A man was arrested for interference with a public officer at 3:25 a.m. at 1151 W. Taylor St.
Feb. 14: A woman was arrested for theft at 4:02 p.m. at the UIC Police Station, related to a Feb. 3 crime.
Feb. 15: A man was arrested for DUI at 5:13 p.m. at 100 W. Roosevelt Road.
