Lots of back-to-school smiles at Children’s Hospital health fair

Happy kids – and happier parents – filled the Outpatient Care Center for the annual back-to-school health fair sponsored by the Children’s Hospital University of Illinois Aug. 4.

Volunteers from the colleges of Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing provided free health exams and immunizations to about 180 children at the health fair, sponsored by the department of pediatrics.

“We do this as a public service for our patients and the community,” said departmenthead Usha Raj.
