Students place decorated sugar skulls and paper cempazuchitl flowers to honor departed loved ones at a communal altar celebrating Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, at the Latino Cultural Center Monday.

Other seasonal events this week include pumpkin carving today, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Student Center West, and a Dia de los Muertos musical procession Thursday, starting in the Student Services Building at 4 p.m.
