Exhibit marks Gender and Sexuality Center’s 20th anniversary
The University of Illinois at Chicago’s Gender and Sexuality Center presents GSC 20/20, an exhibition highlighting 20 years of LGBTQ and allies education, activism and community on campus.

DETAILS:
GSC 20/20 features alumni oral histories and objects obtained from the Gender and Sexuality Center’s archives to highlight and revisit queer history at UIC.
The exhibit includes founding documents of the center, organizing flyers, demonstration posters and buttons from various campaigns, and a listening tour featuring alumni narrators.
The center provides education, outreach, research and support for and about LGBTQ and allied people. It serves students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members of all gender identities, gender expressions and sexual orientations through cultural events, lectures, public dialogues and interactive training.
The center also connects UIC students, faculty and staff with scholarship and research opportunities, support services and student organizations and community partners.
