Virtual International Internships Abroad

The UIC Study Abroad Office is excited to announce the launch of a brand new virtual international internship program!  Although travel may be temporarily postponed, we know how essential it is for students to still obtain practical intercultural experience. That is why we have partnered with CEA to allow students to complete a virtual internship with a business or organization abroad. Some highlights of this program include:

• Get paired with a tailored internship with a business or organization abroad – our partner finds you the perfect internship!
• 120+ hours of internship experience
• Receive 3 UIC general elective credits
• Participate in an online seminar: International Internship: The Multicultural Workplace
• Receive weekly coaching from a NACE-certified career coach
• Receive a career readiness assessment upon completion of the internship
