UIC Innovation Community Health Advocacy Program Symposium

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Innovation, in partnership with OSF HealthCare, will host a Community Health Advocacy program symposium Sept. 19, from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the UIC Innovation Center.

Join us for an opportunity to network with colleagues and hear from past awardees about their research and experiences with the CHA program. Leadership from OSF HealthCare and UIC will share the latest developments of the CHA program and its impact on addressing health equity through cutting-edge research and interdisciplinary collaboration.

This event is open to all from UIC and OSF who are interested in collaborating to develop innovative solutions to pressing health challenges in our communities. The Fall 2023 CHA program focus areas include public health, pharmacy, nursing, dentistry and cancer research.

UIC faculty, in collaboration with OSF HealthCare clinicians, can apply to the CHA program to receive up to $100,000 in funding to support related research.
