“This Stops Today: Creative Expressions on Police Accountability, Anti-Violence, and Community Safety,” sponsored by Gallery 400 and the Chicago Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression.
Chicago poets, dancers, vocalists, artists, community activists and family members respond to the call for establishing an elected Civilian Police Accountability Council. Event includes community dialogue and art activities facilitated by Grace Needlman. Artists and performers include Ugochi Nwaogwugwu, Kush Thompson, Akenya Seymour, Ayinde Cartman, Antonio Toni’Mono Monix, Sol Patches, Grace Needlman and Maila Sylla.
