The Federal Bipartisan Infrastructure Law: Opportunities for Transformative Change

The federal Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act marks a major step in providing the transformational investment to make public transportation and intercity passenger rail faster, more modern, and more reliable. The bigger opportunity will come with the broader goals and outcomes: making communities and regions stronger, more sustainable, more resilient, more customer centric and more equitable. As the focus shifts to implementation and project delivery, public transportation practitioners, stakeholders and advocates are uniquely positioned to team together to apply its programs and policies to make a difference.

In the first UTC Seminar Series presentation of the Spring 2022 semester, we’ll hear from Art Guzzetti, vice president, mobility initiatives and public policy, at the American Public Transportation Association.
