Study Abroad and Gilman International Scholarship Info. Session for Military Veterans (Session 2)

Military veterans are excellent candidates for many of UIC’s study abroad opportunities and there are some unique funding resources to help you afford a study abroad experience! In this session, we will share information about how your VA benefits may be applied towards a credit-bearing study abroad program and explore some other funding resources. We will focus on two scholarship opportunities: The Gilman International Scholarship, which is a scholarship for Pell-eligible students, and the Gilman-McCain Scholarship, which is for child dependents of active-duty service members.
