The Women’s Leadership and Resource Center invites Palestinian and Arab American women and nonbinary students at UIC to join for an evening of tatreez and conversation, healing and community.
No experience necessary. Supplies will be provided.
Tatreez instruction provided by Myasar Ihmud. Conversation facilitated by Sarah Abboud, assistant professor, human development nursing science.
Co-sponsored by the Arab American Cultural Center, Students for Justice in Palestine and College of Medicine Middle Eastern and North African Student Association. Event takes place in the new Odehmenan Center.
Food, safety and accessibility:
