Spring 2021 Leadership Book Club

The Leadership Book Club is for any student at UIC, looking for a minimal time-consuming commitment with SLCE. Students who register for the Book Club will be able to pick up a copy of their book for the semester, and then will join virtual meetings once a month to discuss the book based on preset a reading schedule.
The Spring 2021 Book Club book will be How to Be an Antiracist by Ibram X. Kendi. Students interested in joining the Book Club should complete this form by January 24, 2021. Space is limited, so sign up early.
Spring Book Club Meetings are as follows:
- Wed, Feb 3 at 8:00pm – Welcome meeting (no readings required at this meeting)
- Wed, March 3 at 8:00pm – Readings TBD
- Wed, April 7 at 8:00pm – Readings TBD
- Wed, April 28 at 8:00pm – Readings TBD
Books will be ordered for all confirmed participants, and details on how to receive the book (whether picking up on campus or shipped directly to the student) will be shared via email. Links to the virtual meetings will be shared with participants via email.
