Spark in the Park

UIC’s annual private concert for students, faculty and staff, featuring rapper J. Cole as headliner with special guest Bas.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the show scheduled from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. A valid i-card is required for entry; no tickets will be sold.

Cole, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, earned success and a Grammy nomination after the release of his first album, “Cole World: The Sideline Story.” His second LP, “Born Sinner,” features the hit singles “Power Trip” and “Crooked Smile.”

Bas, from Queens, New York, released his first studio album, “Last Winter,” April 29 on Cole’s Dreamville Records.
