UIC students, faculty, and staff are invited to two “Reproductive Freedom for All” artmaking events:
Thursday, Nov. 3
11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Student Center East – Concourse
Monday, Nov. 7
11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Student Center West – 2nd floor lobby
Local artists, including UIC students and faculty, will be onsite to screenprint designs. Bring your own item — a piece of clothing, a tote, etc. — for printing. A limited supply of posters, T-shirts, tote bags and tea towels will be available.
These events aim to broaden support for reproductive justice on campus, increase awareness about organizations working on reproductive issues, and energize conversations about how UIC can go beyond making reproductive healthcare accessible towards realizing reproductive justice.
“Reproductive Freedom for All” is supported by the UIC Women’s Leadership and Resource Center, UIC Gender and Women’s Studies, Blood Buds, Sexual Health Awareness and Peer Education (SHAPE), Students for Democratic Society, Chicago Abortion Fund, Injustice Watch, and Just Seeds.
