The MBDH All-Hands meetings are organized annually to bring together the broad MBDH membership and interested new parties to share information on data and Data Science-related projects, collaborations, tools, practices, and discoveries in the thematic areas of interest in the Midwest region. Our MBDH constituents represent many science and policy areas, including Materials and Manufacturing; Agriculture & Food production; Water quality and management; Smart, Connected and Resilient Communities; and, Health and biomedicine; as well as cross-cutting themes around data policy, access, use & ethics; and data Education and Workforce development. The meeting is intended to build the community, share successes and opportunities, and also to inform attendees about interesting or emergent Big Data applications across the R&D space.
