Global Health Speaker Series: Sonia Riaz, MD

Please join the UIC School of Public Health Global Health Program on Wednesday, Jan. 25 at noon, for our monthly Global Health Speaker Series. For January, our speaker will be Sonia Riaz, MD, Technical Deputy Director in the Federal Ministry of National Health in Pakistan and a NIDA Hubert H. Humphrey Drug Use and Addiction Research Fellow at Virginia Commonwealth University. The topic of Dr. Riaz’s talk will be Towards Universal Health Coverage: Journey, Challenges & Long Term Vision. The event will be held in SPHPI Room 121, in-person capacity is limited. First come, first serve. There will also be a virtual viewing of the event. All are welcome to attend.
