Gilman International Scholarship Workshop

Join the Study Abroad Office and Office of the Vice Provost of Diversity to learn more about how to develop a strong application for the Gilman International Scholarship for Study Abroad Students.  The scholarship is for students who receive the Pell Grant.  The workshop will focus on the following:

• Learning how to tailor your essay to the specific Gilman Scholarship requirements and review criterion.
• Thinking critically about your identity in relation to Study Abroad and how to showcase that in your application
• Improving your writing skills

Additionally, at the workshop you will hear from UIC Study Abroad alumni about their international experiences and how scholarships made that possible.
