Gender & Sexuality Center and Study Abroad: Pop-up Advising!

The Gender and Sexuality Center will have Study Abroad Ambassadors and alumni available to provide open advising to students considering, or concerned about, traveling abroad. As countries continue learning the acceptance of all identities, we know that how we are viewed may be very different abroad than at home. This is why it helps hearing a first-hand account of those who’ve already experienced what that means. Aaron Stanaway, president of the Study Abroad Ambassadors, and Alicia Ribeiro, study abroad peer adviser, will be in the GSC to answer any questions you have regarding traveling with your identity in a foreign context. This will be a great opportunity to learn, discover and empower yourself!
