Dis/Orientation: Week One Community Slow Down

The Disability Cultural Center invites you to take a break with us and slow down. We’ll have our spaces set up for taking a sensory break in the midst of Week One frenzy. We’ll have an optional check-in and check-out; otherwise we’re going to do very, very little — together. We’ll provide low lights, tea and coffee, mats and napping spots.

This event centers on the experiences of disabled students, but anyone is welcome to join us (nondisabled people, faculty and staff, too).

We’ll have ASL and live captions for the check-in.

Location: Room 231-235, Behavioral Sciences Building. There also will be a virtual live stream via Zoom.
