No CategoriesScreening of “Delano Manongs: Forgotten Heroes of the American Farm Workers” is part of the “Nice Work if You Can Get It” exhibit at Gallery 400. The film tells the story of a farm organizer and group of Filipino farm workers who instigated the Delano Grape Strike of 1965, which brought about the creation of the United Farm Workers Union.
“Nice Work if You Can Get It,” an exhibition of work in all media by nine individual artists and two art collectives, explores how people have sustained themselves in a global economy since the 2008 financial crisis. The exhibit is on view through Aug. 9; Tuesdays through Fridays 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturdays noon-6 p.m.
