Speakers will highlight how front-line communities in the Chicago region, impacted by environmental pollution and climate change and more recently COVID-19, are demanding justice and putting forward a vision to create healthier and safer communities.

On their community organizing and advocacy in Altgeld Gardens. After the passing of her mother, the late Hazel Johnson, known nationally and internationally as the mother of environmental justice, Cheryl Johnson and PCR have continued to address environmental racism and climate justice.
