Center for Clinical and Translational Science seminar on pre-award financial management

The Master Class seminar series from the Center for Clinical and Translational Science helps clinicians, research coordinators/specialists and other health research personnel better understand how to conduct human subjects research at UIC. These immersive training workshops help participants implement best practices for human research subject protection, recruitment, study conduct and data safety/security.

The online Master Class on Financial Management: Pre-Award will be held over two days for two hours per day. It will cover activities related to research funding during the funding procurement or contract negotiation period. Study team members and university administrative offices staff will present multiple perspectives on the processes to secure funding, work with funding agencies and sponsors and develop budgets.
