Chancellor statement on Obama Presidential Library Foundation

Statement from UIC Chancellor Paula Allen-Meares on today’s announcement of a new foundation to plan the Obama Presidential Library:

“We look forward to engaging with our community partners and working with the City of Chicago, the state, and the Foundation. Our aim is to afford the Obama Presidential Library all the advantages of this public university and our neighborhood in the heart of this great American city.”
