CCUSC and first-year seminars

If you are teaching a freshman seminar, consider integrating the activities of the Centers for Cultural Understanding and Social Change into your syllabus and classroom.

The centers offer several opportunities for students enrolled in UIC’s First-Year Seminars to engage. These include public programs; tours, dialogue and conversation series; academic, career and leadership development; advocacy support; spaces of belonging; and spaces to gather, study, learn and rest.
