Gilman Scholarship Workshop

Another workshop is scheduled for 1-2 p.m. Feb. 14 in 502 University Hall.

The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship is a national scholarship for undergraduate students who receive the Pell Grant and are pursuing summer, semester or academic year international opportunities.

This workshop will share information about study abroad scholarship opportunities specific to students who receive the Pell Grant, discuss what factors make a successful Gilman Scholarship essay winner, review and practice writing skills necessary for receiving a grant on the national scale, and lead exercises in learning how to write about your identity and diversity for study abroad scholarships. Hear tips from a Gilman Scholarship winner and study abroad alumni!
