Free Language Assessment and Information about Language Courses at UIC Tutorium in Intensive English

Please join the UIC’s English for International Professionals Series team on Thursday, January 24, 12-1 p.m., or Friday, January 25, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in Room 110 at Addams Hall (UIC East Campus) for an information meeting about our program and the courses we offer. After a short presentation of our program and current course offerings, you will be able to meet with an experienced instructor to assess your language needs and suggest a course that can help you improve your skills in the area(s) identified during the assessment.

We are a part of the Tutorium in Intensive English and offer the highest quality language instruction to non-native speakers of English. Our courses are designed for intermediate to advanced students, working professionals and academics who wish to improve specific English skills. Our faculty are highly experienced in language instruction, and we keep our class sizes small to assure attention to all students’ needs. This means that participants receive high quality individualized instruction. We also offer private instruction, custom courses, and editing services.

Our classes include pronunciation, speaking and writing skills for professionals, and test preparation courses. We offer evening, weekend, and online courses. Classes vary in length and are competitively priced, starting at $250 per course. UIC students, faculty and staff receive an additional discount.
