ENTR 523 is a rigorous, interdisciplinary, pragmatically oriented semester-long 4-credit foundation course.  Over the semester, students are introduced to all essential business startup concepts and vocabulary and apply them to their own startup concepts.  Come to class with your own idea or build a team with other students in the class.  This course is taught with a bias toward action and real-world startup experiences, taught by a full-time entrepreneur who shares his own experience, successes, and failures.

Startup Launch is designed to help you understand what it means to be an entrepreneur and to give you a structured and repeatable process to bring business ideas to reality.  The ultimate goal of the program is that whenever (now or later) or wherever (inside a company or on your own) you decide to step apart from the crowd and take on the challenge of being an entrepreneur, you will have tools and knowledge that will improve your chances of success.  If you’re ready to take that step now, Startup Launch is the perfect place to get started!

Who is eligible?  This course was created for students outside of the College of Business Administration in order to bring entrepreneurship outside of the business realm, but as of the last academic year it was opened up to business students as well.  No prior business experience is required.
