PENSION PROBLEMS
Experts will discuss solutions for Illinois’ financial problems and the state employees pension crisis Thursday at a forum sponsored by the UIC chapter of the State University Annuitants Association.
“Addressing Illinois’ Fiscal Problems and Political Logjam” will be held 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in 302 Student Center East.
Speakers include Ralph Martire, executive director of the Center for Tax and Budget Accountability, political science professor Dick Simpson and Bill Barclay, former board member of the Illinois Financial Authority.

A free Graduate and Professional School Fair will be held 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the UIC Forum for students, employees and the community.

VACATION AND/OR SICK LEAVE PAYOUTS
UIC employees may defer vacation and/or compensable sick leave payouts to their 403(b) and/or 457 retirement accounts upon separation or retirement from the university.
