Campus News: ‘Ivanov’ rules
‘IVANOV’ RULES
Tickets for UIC students, usually $12, are two-for-one for today’s performance of “Ivanov” by the UIC Theatre.
Yasen Peyankov, head of UIC’s acting program and an ensemble member of Steppenwolf Theatre, directs the production, adapted by Peyankov and Peter Christensen. Student actors perform.
The play will also be performed Thursday,Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.
All performances are in the UIC Theatre, 1044 W. Harrison St. Tickets are regularly $17 for general admission and $12 for students at the box office or online. For information, call 312-996-3991.
DMV RETURNS TO UIC
The Illinois Secretary of State mobile unit will be in the Student Center East concourse today, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., to provide driver’s license and state ID renewal and replacement, vehicle stickers, organ/tissue donor registration and written driver’s exams (in English only).
GSC 20/20
GSC 20/20, an exhibition highlighting 20 years of LGBTQ and allies education, activism and community at UIC, opens Thursday in the Gender and Sexuality Center, 183 Behavioral Sciences Building.
The exhibit features alumni oral histories and objects from the center’s archives, including founding documents, organizing flyers, demonstration posters and buttons and a listening tour by alumni narrators.
The exhibit opens with a reception 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday. It will be open until June 30, Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Deadline is Nov. 26 to donate to the Campus Charitable Fund Drive — 12 umbrella charities representing more than 2,000 organizations with different philanthropic missions.
Employees can make one-time donations or pledge through ongoing payroll deductions through the state charitable campaign, State and University Employees Combined Appeal.
