Conference focuses on worker injury, illness
Who:
Epidemiologists, industrial hygienists and occupational health scientists from around the world will attend an international conference in Chicago to better understand worker injury, illness and death, and to propose public policy and workplace interventions to improve worker health.
What:
The 24th International Epidemiology in Occupational Health (EPICOH) Conference is sponsored by the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Public Health, the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, and the Illinois Occupational Environmental Health and Safety Education and Research Center at UIC.

EPICOH, which is part of the International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH), held its first conference in Helsinki in 1981. The theme for this year’s conference is “Challenges to Occupational Epidemiology in the 21st Century.”
