Children’s Hospital Halloween
Ninjas, princesses – even the Despicable Me Minions – came to help the Children’s Hospital University of Illinois celebrate Halloween with its young patients Thursday.
“If you have to be in the hospital on Halloween, you miss out on the trick-or-treating,” said child life specialist Lindsay Cousins.
“It’s a nice, fun day for the kids. They get to dress up and forget about their illness.”
