Healthy Aging Symposium

This online symposium brings together researchers, clinicians and advocates from the United States and Mexico to enhance collaborations in healthy aging between the University of Illinois System and Mexican institutions by sharing innovative research and educational opportunities. It seeks to foster connections that improve the well-being of aging populations and advance shared goals for quality of life and sustainable health. Naoko Muramatsu from the University of Illinois Chicago and Wendy A. Rogers from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign will represent the U of I System.

The event is part of the system’s Mexican and Mexican American Students Initiative, or I-MMÁS, which supports student research experiences in Mexico and at U of I System universities. I-MMÁS also works to expand academic, research and economic partnerships with universities, government agencies and private industries in Mexico.
