Embracing Compassion

Join the UIC Arab American Cultural Center and the UIC Counseling Center Tuesday, March 7, for a discussion on wellness.

How do we talk to our family and loved ones about stress, especially in communities witnessing trauma? How do we navigate discussions with our elders while advocating for ourselves and showing them compassion? How do we show ourselves compassion while dealing with our stressors? All of these questions will be discussed at the session

This discussion will be facilitated by doctoral intern Maria Fakhouri of the UIC Counseling Center and Nesreen Hasan, program coordinator/student support at the UIC Arab American Cultural Center.
