Natasha Crooks’ research focuses on Black female adolescents. She was lead author on a call to action to improve the ethics of research among Black populations, acknowledging historical trauma and ongoing impact.
Also among her published work is a deep dive into how the pandemic affected Black girls’ health, revealing that their physical, psychological and sexual development was “heavily impacted.”
