Wilderness survival and first-aid workshop with Dr. Antonio Gangemi

Medical students are invited to join the Wilderness Medicine Interest Group at UIC to get outside and practice emergency-response skills with robotic bariatric surgeon Dr. Antonio Gangemi. Gangemi is a former assistant professor of surgery at UIC and currently an associate professor of surgery at the University of Bologna in Italy.

The workshop will take place at Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve, where you can stay afterward to take a hike with waterfall views.
