Marisol Becerra
“Understanding How the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Conceptualizes “Success” in Brownfield Redevelopment Success Stories”

Using an environmental justice theoretical framework, her research investigates the implications of environmental policy on poverty, race, and health. Currently, Marisol is exploring the relationship between brownfield redevelopment and gentrification in U.S. cities.
Ivón Padilla-Rodríguez

Dr. Ivón Padilla-Rodríguez is a Bridge to Faculty Scholar in the Department of History. A legal and social historian of child migration, her research examines the origins of undocumented youth labor trafficking, the “school-to-deportation” pipeline, and migrant child detention in the 20th century.
