Gilman International Scholarship Info Session

The Gilman International Scholarship is a national scholarship for Pell-eligible students choosing to study abroad. Awards range from $1,000 to $8,000. While this is a competitive scholarship, UIC students consistently receive the scholarship each term. In this overview session, we will go over the application components in detail, share essay writing tips, and brainstorm ways to promote your diversity in your application. In addition, we will highlight the Gilman-McCain scholarship, which is for dependents of active-duty military personnel.

The information session will take place in University Hall 502 in the SAO resource room. We will be joined by Gilman Ambassador and study abroad alumni.
