Arbor Day tree planting

To commemorate Arbor Day, Andy Mitchell, assistant vice chancellor and director of sustainability, and Carly Provost-Rizor, director of grounds, invite members of the UIC community to join them as they plant a new tuliptree in the UIC arboretum, on the southeast corner of the University Hall lawn.

Then at 10:30 a.m., Ratn Priya, the planning, sustainability and project management biodiversity intern, will lead a tour of the arboretum. The tour offers a unique opportunity to learn about the significant role that campus trees play in supporting UIC’s sustainability goals.
