FREE – Business Process Improvement Facilitation Skills Training Class
Do you or any of your team members want to:
- Have more effective meetings?
- Have increased confidence as a facilitator?
- Know how to keep a meeting from “running off the rails”?
- Develop your public speaking skills?
This Facilitation Skills training will provide you that opportunity. By the time you leave, you will know about the 3 critical tools for facilitators, how to be a neutral and highly effective facilitator, how to deal with a variety of challenging personalities, what to do when things go wrong and much more.
The Business Process Improvement Shared Service will host BPI Facilitation Skills training from 8:30 a.m-12:30 p.m. on July 15, 2019 (Monday) at the Daley Library, room 1-470, East Campus. You may park at the Halsted Street parking structure.
Training is open to all faculty and staff members and is FREE. Concepts covered include the fundamental facilitation tools that can be applied to any type of facilitated session, whether it is a staff meeting, planning session, a brainstorming session, or any kind of meeting that you want to be meaningful and productive. Please note that this is an interactive class with trainees participating in a role-playing exercise at the end.
Class starts promptly at 8:30 a.m. so please arrive early. You may bring breakfast if you wish. Due to limited training space, the class maximum attendance is 25.
