The Symphonic Band explores a diverse range of traditional and contemporary repertoire written for the Concert Band. Enjoy music for the Symphonic band with music by Alfred Reed, Julie Giroux, Rossano Galante and Shelley Hanson, conducted by Nicholas Carlson.
The UIC Orchestra performs music by classic and contemporary composers, including Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Astor Piazolla, Leoš Janáček, Johann Sebastian Bach, and Antonín Dvořák. Among classical composers you may also hear orchestral arrangements of popular artists like Radiohead. The UIC Orchestra is conducted by Tim Fawkes.
Unless otherwise stated, all UIC concerts are free and open to the public.
