The Women’s Leadership and Resource Center and the Underrepresented Minority Faculty Mentoring Program of the Office of Diversity, Equity and Engagement are excited to host a teaching workshop for women and gender non-conforming faculty who are Black, Indigenous and people of color.
Supporting the retention and success of diverse faculty begins with knowing more about their teaching experiences. At the end of the workshop, participants will know the highlights of research on the teaching experiences of women and gender non-conforming faculty of color. They will also have ideas on how to begin addressing these experiences in their teaching.
Register to receive the Zoom link.
Make sure you have a laptop/pen and paper/tablet/etc. and your teaching materials (e.g., evaluations, teaching philosophy/statement, annual or P&T review of teaching, etc.) available to examine during the workshop.
