Rising Attorneys Inclusive Summer Experience (RAISE) 2025

The University of Illinois Chicago School of Law will host an immersive two-day RAISE event from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, and from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, at the law school. Explore how to prepare for, apply to and finance law school; learn what to expect during law school; and discover how you can use a JD degree to improve yourself, your community and society.

RAISE is suitable for all majors. If you are already pre-law, you’re invited to learn more. If you are in any other major — from STEM to art to business and everything else — you can learn how you can combine your passions with a law degree. Many previous students who had not considered law school have learned through RAISE about the possibilities law school offers.

Eligibility:

• Continuing UIC undergrad students in any college or major (Students graduating in the spring or summer semester of the upcoming school term will not be eligible).
• Priority will be given to students closer to graduating.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Preference will be given to first-generation college students.
