This practical overview will walk faculty through the Institutional Review Board process at UIC, including which projects require Institutional Review Board review or submission to the Office for the Protection of Research Subjects, the different types of review and when single Institutional Review Board review may be required or appropriate. We’ll also cover tips and resources for navigating UIC Research, UIC’s electronic research submission platform.
