Illinois Youth Institute – World Food Prize Foundation

UIC will be co-hosting the inaugural Illinois Youth Institute in collaboration with the World Food Prize Foundation.  The event will be held in multiple locations throughout Student Center East and will bring together high school students from across the state to engage in critical conversations and experiential learning focused on the future of food and agriculture.

The Illinois Youth Institute will provide participants with a unique opportunity to explore complex global food challenges from sustainability and climate resilience to agricultural innovation and food equity. Keynote presentations, interactive roundtables and dialogue with experts are designed to spark curiosity and inspire action for a new generation of informed, passionate leaders in food and agricultural systems.
